in what was the most anticipated local release of the last three years, athens' toast of the town - the whigs - said a big F-U to everyone, and did a record w/ no producer, no studio, and didn't give a damn what people thought. and although a little bit overly-indie at times, the final outcome is nothing short of brilliant.

i know what you're thinking... high life... LIGHT?? but trust me. it's better. doesn't give up any flavor but does give up the bitter heaviness that comes with the real deal. a little harder to find, yes, but well worth the search! i will not turn it down if you buy me one after a show, and in fact, might buy you two in return.
